It’s been a shifting season for Calgary’s real estate market: in August, home sales dipped 16.4%, with 1,660 properties changing hands. The benchmark price edged down 1.1% to $569,800. If you’re following the numbers, apartment prices took the biggest step back, dropping 8.2%. Row homes also saw a 5.4% decrease, detached homes slipped by 1.1%, but interestingly, semi-detached homes rose 1%. Both new listings and overall inventory are also down.
